Paul Rudd Shirtless in Cabo: Buff Body Picture
Hut, hut, hot! Paul Rudd showed off his buff physique while playing football, shirtless, in Cabo, Mexico on Friday, April 11.
Joined by friends and family, 45-year-old Rudd looked ripped and ready to play in the sand as he gripped the football and flaunted his bulky arms. The This is 40 star flexed his impressive calf muscles as he ran across the beach in red and black color swim trunks.
So is a midlife crisis to credit for his sudden body transformation?
Rudd, it turns out, has actually been pumping iron and getting into amazing physical shape ahead of his role as Scott Lang in Marvel's upcoming superhero flick, Ant-Man. He stars in the action movie opposite Michael Douglas' character Hank Pym, a biochemist who creates a "size-altering formula" — hence, Rudd's bulky bod.

"When I'm not working, I won't shave or cut my hair or exercise," Rudd said in a June 2007 interview with Men's Journal. "I turn into [bearded baseball pitcher] Brian Wilson, the off years. I grow my fingernails out like that guy in the Guinness Book of World Records. Sometimes I'll wipe my ass with my wrist. I'll bare-wrist it. It's quicker. Hey, I have e-mails to answer."
Ant-Man will hit theaters on July 17, 2015. In the meantime, tell Us: What do you think of Rudd's recently-ripped physique?
