John Mayer, Instagrams Most Prolific Commenter, Releases a New Single
Instagram’s most prolific commenter has a side hustle: making music. Somehow in between commenting on all of your favorite celebrities’ Instagram posts, John Mayer found the time to write and release a new song, “Carry Me Away.” He also filmed an entire music video, out now. The music video chronicles Mayer creating the song in a recording studio, complete with bandmates, his dog, playing on a small piano, doodling, and playing on a big piano. Mayer is on a new music kick. He recently wrote and performed a new song with Chris Stapleton and he told fans on his favorite app that he’ll be recording a new album in 2020. It will be his first full project since 2017’s The Search for Everything. The “Carry Me Away” video is a bit of a sneak peek into that process. Watch the music video and nod your head to the beat.
